An Army Interlude

The Memorial

Some of you may have noticed a distinct lack of article this week, this is because I’m currently in Lille, France. Why? Well, as those who have perused my “About Me” page will know that I’m an active reservist in the Canadian Army, with several overseas adventures under my belt. I’m currently on another one, much shorter and safer though! My regiment selected me to represent it in the 95th Vimy Ridge Anniversary memorial; where our predecessors fought as the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles (the British Columbia Horse). Loath as I am to not be diving, I could not refuse this honour or let a chance to travel to France pass me by! Posts resume next weekend!
